Capital One Credit Card Review From Michele S.

I have been a Capital One credit card customer for over twelve years now and I have been disappointed many times by them. Their customer service reps seem to have no power to make any small changes to my account or decisions and apparently neither do the supervisors. My account has always been in good standing with them and they would not raise my credit limit a few thousand dollars that I needed to make some large purchases for my new home. Capital One also changes their reward programs frequently without notification of the changes and the programs only seem to be getting worse as time passes. I used to be able to get an airline ticket for 25,000 points, but it now takes 40,000 points to get a ticket valued at $200 or below. Only recently has Capital One begun to contact me to take advantage of new offers for good customers when I began using the card less.
